Facial Oil

After reading an article about the healing properties of Sandalwood oil, I’ve been using it on a weird, red rash on my neck. It looks very much like a rope burn and it itchy. The Sandalwood oil seems to be helping, though I’ve also been using my herbal salve, known as Be’s Magical Goo, on the red patch.

Today I decided to make a little facial oil so that I’m not casting around every morning for my Sandalwood oil, sometimes also adding a little Frankincense to it for the skin healing properties Frankincense is known to have.

We will see how it goes with the red spot and also it it’s helpful for hydrating my ‘peri-menopausal’ skin.

Not the clearest pic due to low lighting, but you see my point. You will probably also notice that I have a lot of red in my complexion, part natural, partly because I just washed my face and because my skin is sensitive, it turns red when I cleanse. I use coconut oil and baking soda a few times per week and other times, just a warm cloth and sunflower oil. Still: RED.

I’m hoping to post another pic in a couple of weeks that show a reduction in the redness. We shall see.

Facial Oil:
5cc each: calendula infused organic olive oil; og carrot seed oil; og jojoba oil
71 drops Frankincense essential oil
53 drops Sandalwood essential oil
26 drops Rose essential oil
1 drop Spikenard (I have no idea why this oil needed to go in, but it did, so there it is.)

I was also infusing the oils with Reiki as I mixed and shook the mixture to combine them.
